For this project, I developed the concepts for different products and packagings for a new line and relaunch, focusing on a design language rooted in brand heritage and consumer trust.
For this project, I developed the concepts for different products and packagings for a new line and relaunch, focusing on a design language rooted in brand heritage and consumer trust.
The objective was to balance the stakeholder’s specific aesthetic vision with a layout that felt familiar to loyal customers. I focused on strategic typography and layout to ensure the brand felt established and reliable, refining the legacy rather than replacing it.
To transition from a digital concept to a physical product, I engaged in cross-functional collaboration with:
The stakeholders: To ensure the design iteration process stayed aligned with the brand's goals.
The Printing Team: To oversee technical execution. I managed color calibration and Pantone matching to ensure the design remained consistent after printing.
By delivering print-ready files while following the brand's custom dielines, we successfully launched a product that stands out on the retail shelf of all Latino markets of the Florida area.
My role on this project:
Visual Identity & Branding: Crafting cohesive looks for specialized markets.
Custom Illustration: Developing unique vector and hand-drawn assets for labels.
Client Consultation & Communication: Active listening and talking to the client to align on creative direction.
Prototyping & Iterating: Rapidly iterating designs based on feedback and user testing.
Print-Ready File Production: Ensuring error-free handoffs to manufacturing.
Dieline Creation & Management: Designing functional structures for various bag sizes.
CMYK & Pantone Color Calibration: Maintaining brand integrity across different print runs.
Shelf Impact Strategy: Analyzing the retail environment to ensure the product grabs attention.
